Excellent service and super convenient if you live on campus. I had a 2012 car and a 2014 truck get brakes replaced and Sonny let us know that both vehicles needed new axels. The repairs were completed the same day we dropped them off. I’ll definitely bring my other cars here in the future.

I’m incredibly grateful for the help and customer service I received from Elite Performance Auto Repair in Palo Alto. While driving to Palo Alto this weekend for my stepdad’s Stanford medical appointment, someone alerted me that my driver-side brake light was out. Since I had to continue driving around Palo Alto and eventually make the trip safely back to Stockton, I was stressed trying to figure out how to get it fixed quickly. I had already purchased the replacement bulb from O’Reilly Auto Parts, but I couldn’t find a mobile mechanic willing to come out and install it. I called Elite Performance Auto Repair, and Sunny told me they were open until 8 PM and to bring my car over once I arrived in Palo Alto. Within about 10 minutes, Sunny had the bulb installed, made sure everything was working properly, and even took the time to show me how to change the other bulb myself in the future. The service was fast, professional, honest, and incredibly appreciated. For only $40 cash, I was able to safely continue driving for the weekend and make the trip home without worrying about getting pulled over or driving unsafely. Sonny is honest, thorough, and very patient with explaining. I’ve gone to the same mechanic since moving to the Bay Area 14 years ago. I liked that he seemed honest and reasonable, but lately, red flags started popping up. One was the fact that my brakes kept squealing shortly after he replaced them. I felt I was having brake pads replaced too often, eg. After one year, and I barely drive! I went to Elite Auto for a 2nd opinion. My brakes even squeaked when I wasn’t braking. Sonny called very soon after I went across the street to Starbucks to wait. He said my brakes pads looked fine with 8mm left. I asked him to replace them since the squealing was embarrassing, and we agreed perhaps my previous mechanic used cheap parts. The invoice was higher than I expected, but Sonny explained that my previous mechanic never replaced the calibers. They were still the originals from the factory, and my car is 20 years old! This caused the squealing, as well as early wear on my rotors. After Sonny patiently explained and showed me the rusty calipers, I happily paid for replacement of all these parts (when I these saw the invoice, I hadn’t realized it included rotor/disc replacement as well).

Excellent service and professionalism! They replaced my brakes, discs, and brake pads, and everything was done perfectly. The service was exceptional from start to finish. This is my second time using them, and I will definitely continue to use them in the future. Highly recommend to everyone — thank you so much!
